This is an easy one to spot; ABS in a circle with two lines at the side. When the engine is not running this will light up on the dashboard but should switch off when you start the engine if everything is in working order.
If the light continues to stay on whilst you are driving this indicates a malfunction with your ABS braking system. You should always consult a professional car garage and get your ABS braking fixed as soon as possible. In some cases your car will be okay to continue, as normal braking should be maintained. At the end of the day, there’s nothing more important to your car, and the safety of you and your passengers than your brakes!
If your ABS warning light is on don’t take the chance and risk the potentially disastrous consequences of driving without proper working brakes. Contact MB Services immediately or pop in for a quick, easy diagnosis from our expert team.
